Ldc-udc pay issue must be raised in a strong manner. The 7 cpc must feel the pain of ldc-udcs of central govt dept. Its almost a decade now and we have been still barred from getting our right pay. The commision has to ensure the justice specially for ldc-udcs. An appropriate pay structure for ldc-udc-assts may be fixed in comparision to all other cadres. The residency period for promotion in this cadre may be slashed down to an appropriate years.

Yes, I am agreed with above matter which is genuine and necessary for LDC who are negalated by 6th CPC and Congress Government
DeleteIn many departments LDCs or UDCs are doing cashiers duty. But for that a meager cash handling allowance of Rs.150 is paid. Now a days e-payment is favored for all kind of transaction. For certain transaction cashier has to handle cash. Cash handling risk is not reduced. The cashiers have to give fidelity bond for Rs.10000/- It can be obtained from any insurance institution by paying premium of Rs200/= p.a. Here we should note that cashier allowance is Rs.150/- but fidelity premium cashier has to pay is Rs.200/- p.a. Because of the advent of e-payment currency handling is considerable reduced. But the risk is not reduced for cashier duty. The Cashier has to face any shortage including fake notes not accepted by bank etc. The premium for Fidelity bond has to be borne by the cashier. This should be changed. LDCs or UDCs performing the duty of cashier must be treated at par with railway cashier and promoted according to the service put by them as LDC cum cashier. 7th CPC may considered this for alleviate the anomaly
