DoPT vide OM AB-14017/6/2009-Estt (RR) dated 12/5/10 has directed all Ministries to send their requirement for the Non technical group C posts (1800 grade pay) to Staff Selection Commission. The SSC is mandated to make recruitment to all non-technical group C posts in the Ministries/Departments and their subordinate offices except those posts which are specifically exempt from the purview of SSC. But the details of the posts are exempted from the purview of the SSC is not given, which may be the Departments have to decide.
