The Chairman,

Subject:   Request for inviting for oral evidence.

Respected Sir,

It is humbly submitted that this Association had sent a memorandum, highlighting the problems faced by the Administrative Staff in NSSO Offices, to 7th CPC vide letter of even number dated 10th July 2014. In the aforesaid memorandum we had submitted the problems faced by the Administrative Staff in subordinate offices generally and that in Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation in particular (Brief report on the issues raised is enclosed in Annexure I). It is worth mentioning here that this Association is instrumental in raising the issues of upgradation of Grade Pay of LDC & UDC, grant of MACP on promotional hierarchy etc, affected  the Administrative staff.  In addition, need of granting replacement scale worth Grade Pay Rs. 2000 to MTS was also explained in our memorandum.

It is also informed that the web site maintained by this Association become a common platform for all administrative staff of Government of India because of the fact that it highlights the common issues faced by the Administrative Staff. And we are getting letters frequently, enquiring the date of oral evidence granted by the 7th Pay Commission to us to present these common issues before Commission because they feel our oral submission will have more impact than the oral submission for Administrative staff given by other Associations. Since our Association’s Hqrs is in Bhopal and the Pay Commission has not visited Bhopal we could not put up the common issues of Administrative Staff before the Pay Commission orally.

But, it has come to know that 7th Pay Commission has not intended to invite associations other than some major associations, affiliated to National JCM for oral evidence. In fact none of the major Associations whom the Pay Commission proposes to invite are not concerned with the issues as raised by this Association as the staff members the former represent are not affected with these issues. Thus without giving a chance to this Association for oral evidence the enquiry of the Pay Commission on the issues of Administrative Staff of Government of India will not complete.

It is therefore requested to please give us a chance to present the issues of the Administrative staff before you. We expect a favourable action at your end.
                                                                  Yours faithfully

(TKR Pillai)

  1. Hats off to you Pillai ji for thinking for this poor LDC & UDC. We should unite and fight against the Government for justice, GOI is thinking we are beggers and as they wish they can treat us. This is the right time to show the Government the Power of the Ministerial Staff.
Friends lets join our hands and fight for our own benefit.
