  2. The Secretary, JCM (STAFF SIDE) wrote the above letter on May 16, 2014. Since then three months and above has already passed. Either a reminder or another letter, from our staff side, has not been arranged. One comrade in his comment said DOPT is sleeping in the matter of low paid employee. Though it is correct, we should wake up early to make them wake up. I request JCM may generously initiate another letter correspondence to get a good result.

    1. After issue of above letter on 16.05.2014, the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India has stayed the judgments of Hon'ble High Courts of Ernakulam and Punjab & Haryana in SLP Nos.21803of 2014, 22181 of 2014, 23333 of 2014 and 23335 of 2014 vide orders dated 8.8.2014 and 22.8.2014. Notices have been issued to the respondents in above SLPs and these cases are likely to be listed in coming months before Hon'ble Supreme Court. Since the matter is sub-judice, any correspondence with DOP&T,New Delhi in this regard is not likely to yield any results. So wait for final verdict of Hon'ble Supreme Court, support the respondents in above SLPs morally and financially for better future of all concerned.

    2. The above view is showing responsibility. But read the updated news today. It says that in sanjaykumar versus uoi case hearing postponed to 19th november 2014. This case is in Delhi High Court. After the judgement it may be appealed to supreme court as it is a regular practice of Govt. side. Is it not an unnecessary expense money and time for both side?. To stop this visible waste of time and money the correspondence may help.

  5. This can only be solved if we approach media (Aajtak, Zee news, Timesnow, India TV etc), If Media interferes, the matter will be solved in no time.
