NCCPA holds Massive Dharna on 25/10/2017

At 'Meghdoot Bhawan' New Delhi a massive Dharna at the call of NCCPA is organised. Comrade Shiv Gopal Mishra President NCCPA presided the meeting. Comrade VAN.Namboodiri Patron NCCPA has delivered inaugural address. Hundreds of pensioners representing various affiliates were attended the dharna. The dais is seen with leaders comrades KKN.Kutty (SG NCCPA); M.S.Raja (SG Audit); K.G.Jayaraj (GS AIBDPA); K.Ragavendran (GS AIPRPA); and leaders of different affiliates. The Dharna highlighted issues like Option number1; Pre-2006 Pensioners issue; full Medical facilities to pensioners; FMA enhancement etc.
STEPS TO UPDATE MOBILE NUMBER, E-MAIL, AADHAAR NUMBER IN CGHS DATABASE
 Q. How to update Mobile Number, E-mail, Aadhaar Number in CGHS Database 

Ans. Steps to update Mobile Number, E-mail, Aadhaar Number in CGHS Database There are 2 ways to update the mobile number of a beneficiary:
1. By Beneficiary Login – When beneficiary has registered as well as new mobile number.
2. By CMO In - Charge – When beneficiary has not registered mobile number yet or does not have registered mobile number.
Case - I: Steps to update mobile number by Beneficiary Login:
Step 1: Click on the link ‘Beneficiary login’ on cghs.nic.in
The following screen appears

Step 2: Enter the beneficiary id of any of the family members and the password in the screen shown above 
If a beneficiary doesn’t have the password, click on the option ‘Generate Password’
The following screen will appear:-

Enter the beneficiary id of main card holder, date of birth and mobile no. that exists in the CGHS database and click on Register button.

OTP is sent to the registered mobile no.

Step 3: The beneficiary can then enter beneficiary id and password on screen shown in step 1 to print plastic cards of family members or update mobile number, email, Aadhaar Number or view medicine history etc.
Click on relevant option like ‘Update Mobile No’.

Step 4: The desired screen is displayed for updating the mobile no

Step 5: Enter the mobile numbers of the self/dependents and click on submit button.

Case- II: Step to update Mobile Number if already not registered or registered mobile is not with beneficiary

In case the mobile number of a beneficiary is not available in CGHS database or does not have already registered mobile number, in such cases the beneficiary has to approach the CMO In -Charge of respective wellness centre with his/her mobile.

The CMO In-Charge will update the mobile against the beneficiary id. An OTP will be received on beneficiary’s mobile number that will be communicated to CMO In-Charge to finally update the mobile no. of the beneficiary.

PFRDA ROLLS-OUT AADHAR POWERED DIGITAL ON BOARDING INTO APY THROUGH ENPS PLATFORM

            PFRDA rolls-out Aadhar Powered Digital on Boarding into APY through eNPS platform for wider reach; Benefits of APY@eNPS include paperless registration; No need to visit Bank Branch & to have Banking Id and 24*7 Online En-rollment at the customer's convenience.

            Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has embarked upon several digital friendly steps for extension of the benefits of APY to the citizens of India. PFRDA has developed the process to offer APY enrolment through eNPS platform for wider reach. Under this channel a complete end to end digital environment for subscription is enabled without submission of physical form at the convenience of the customer without visiting bank or post office.

            So far APY is available for subscription through Banks, BCs and through internet banking. Now, APY is available on eNPS platform and any eligible Indian citizen can enroll through the APY@eNPS channel by visiting www.enps.nsdl.com. The customers of the Bank can visit eNPS portal and submit Aadhaar/ Bank Name and Savings Bank Account Number to join the scheme. The benefits of APY@eNPS are:

• Paperless registration
• No need for visiting Bank Branch.
• Online enrollment can be made 24*7 at the customer's convenience.
• No Need for having internet banking Id.

            Punjab National Bank is the first Bank to operationalize APY@eNPS and quite a few other banks are expected to launch this platform shortly offering Aadhaar enabled APY enrollment.

            Any person in the age group of 18 to 40 years with a savings bank account and Aadhaar can register for APY by providing the minimum information in the APY@eNPS portal as rest of the information will be auto populated from the respective bank. This new feature not only makes it easy for the subscriber to join the APY but also reduces the workload for the Banks/Postal Branch which are implementing the APY.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject- Rate of Dearness Allowance applicable w.e.f. 01.07.2017 to employees of Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies continuing to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay scale/Grade Pay as per 6th Central Pay Commission

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM. of even No. dated 7th April, 2017 revising the rate of Dearness. Allowance wet. 01.01.2017 in respect of employees of Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies continuing to draw their pay in the pro-revised pay scale i Grade Pay as per 6th Central Pay Commission.

2. The rate of DA admissible to above categories of employees of Central Government and Central Autonomous Bodies shall be enhanced from the existing 136% to 139% w.e.f. 01.07.2017.

3. The provisions contained in paras 3, 4 and 5 of this Ministry’s .O.M.No;1(3)12008-E.II(B) dated 29th August, 2008 shall continue to be applicable while regulating Dearness Allowance under these orders.

4. The contents of this Office Memorandum may also be brought to the notice of all organisations under the administrative control of the Ministries/Departments which have adopted the Central Government scales of pay.
