Sub: - De-recognition of All India Association of Ministerial Staff (Group C)-Reg.

Sir,

This is in reference to your letter No. B-12011/2/2008-Ad.III dated 21.11.2011 on the above subject. In this connection it is to inform that as directed by the Ministry the 9th Biennial Conference (General Body Meeting) of the All India Association of the Ministerial Staff (Group C) was held at Belapur, Navi-Mumbai from 15th to 16th September, 2011(copy of the General Body Notice is enclosed as annexure I). The meeting discussed the contents of the letter, received from the ministry in connection with the functioning of Shri TKR Pillai as General Secretary of the Association and unanimously arrived at the conclusion that the post of Assistant is a non gazetted cadre with common interest with other Non Gazetted Administrative Staff and as such all Non Gazetted Administrative Staff will be the members of the Association. However, the Association will only nominate group C members as members of JCM (DC) & Office Council to represent the Association.

In accordance with the above decision, necessary amendments have been made in the existing constitution and the General Body meeting approved the same unanimously (enclosed as annexure II). As per the provisions of new Constitution, the office bearers, as given in annexure III, have been elected.

The minutes and related documents of the aforesaid meeting have already been submitted to the Ministry by the General Secretary of the Association vide Association letter dated 26/09/2011. It is, therefore, requested to please accept the same and convey the recognition of the Association at the earliest.

Sir,

I am directed to refer to your letter No. AIAMS(Gr.C)/DPD/KOL/11-12 dated 19.7.2011 and Shri Pillai's letter dated 10.6.2011 on the subject cited above and to say that this Ministry had already advised Shri Pillai not to make any correspondence with Government in the capacity of General Secretary of the All India Association of Ministerial Staff (Group ‘C’) as he is no longer eligible to hold the post of General Secretary of the Association, since he has been promoted to a Group 'B' post. The term of the recognition of the Association has been expired on 19.3.2011.

2. In view of above, you are requested to submit all •documents i.e. verified list of members, list of office bearers, a copy of Constitution, if there is any amendment in it as per this Ministry's order dated 29.10.2009, for further extension of recognition of the Association.
