MACP on Promotional Hierarchy- Final hearing on 17/10/2019.

At present around 45 cases against SLP filed by the Government are attached with the main case of MV Mohanan Nair Vs Union of India. Several of these cases are not directly related to the subject MACP on promotional hierarchy. Thus, according to information, on 25/09/2019, the bench headed by Justice Bhanumati directed the solicitor General to classify the cases subject wise and submit notes on behalf of Government by 14^th October. Similarly, the bench asked all respondents to submit brief synopsis on the case filed by them by 14^th October.

Further, the court categorically stated that the final hearing of the case will be done on 17^th October and there will be no further extension. Advocate C K Shashi and Sr Advocate Giri will submit the synopsis in connection with the case of MV Mohanan Nair.

Thus we have to wait till 17^th October to know the result of MACP case. I think there may be a positive result in the case.
