DEMAND OF TENURE POSTING FOR ARMY CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES POSTED IN HIGH ALTITUDE AREA:

WE HAVE RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE DEFENCE CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES, POSTED IN HIGH ALTITUDE AREA OF J&K. ACCORDING TO THE LETTER, THE AREA IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CONTINUED STAY AND YET ANY PROVISION OF TENURE POSTING IS NOT GIVEN FOR AROUND 1500 DEFENCE CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES. WHEREAS ARMY PERSONS AND ARMY OFFICERS POSTED IN THIS AREA GETS TENURE POSTING IN 2 YEARS. ON THIS SUBJECT THE DEFENCE CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES LEH HAVE SENT A MEMORANDUM TO THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA, COPY OF THE SAME IS GIVEN BELOW. EVENTHOUGH THIS LETTER IS WRITTEN BY UNIDENTIFIED PERSONS, CONSIDERING THE HUMANITARIAN ASPECTS INVOLVED IN IT WE PUBLISH THIS LETTER IN THIS WEB SITE.

MAKING OF PROVISION  OF TENURE POSTING  RESPECT OF DEFENCE CIVILIAN EMPLOYEES OF RECRUITED IN HIGH ALTITUDE AREA(LEH) J&K

1.  With due respect and humble submission of the following lines for your kind consideration and favorable action please.

2 This is humble request for above subject, we  are working in Leh (J&K),as Defence Civilian (LDCs, Storekeepers, Fireman and Mazdoors) serving in units like Stn HQ, 14 Corps OMC, 8 Mtn Div, 3 Int- DOU and 71 omp, this units are located in High Altitude Area wilt extreme weather conditions. This units are located in High Altitude Area with extreme weather conditions & treacherous leave, major impact on the health of the who have prolonged stay here. The ailments  permanent in nature due to indls are declare unfit for continued tenure in this area is no provision of tenure posting in Leh (J&K) for recruited of Defence Civilian Employees working in Army Ordnance Corps -- There is approximate 1500 Defence Civilian Employees serving in same station 02 years approximate. As a fact is that All Defence Civilian Employees are generally belong other state accept Jammu & Kashmir where they faced -25 degree to -35 degree temperature winter seasons, as a results the facing so many causes due to High Altitude Area like heart problems, breathing problem, HAPO, HAFO and Chilblain and which is having serious  affect on the individual and many cases found in 153 General Hospital and Sonarn Memorial Hospital in Leh (J&K),There is very difficult life in this area and this station is non station and not stay with family due to very difficulties in climate and affect our children and not caring our old parents due to long distance our duty station to home but there appropriate solution for this problem and approach this regard several time of our Higher Headquarters but not solution till date, Whereas Army persons and Army Officer who are to posted this High Altitude Area (Leh) (J&K) have only a tenure of 02 year and then move new duty station, but not same provision for serving of Defence Civilian Employees in Leh (J&K) you are understand our feeling and take necessary action on the our better future.

3. We shall be highly obliged if you look after this said matter and take necessary steps for the sack of all Defence Civilian Employees in serving in Leh (J&K).
