Release of additional installment of Dearness Allowance to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief to Pensioners, due from 1.1.2015.
The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today gave its approval to release an additional installment of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Central Government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) to pensioners with effect from 01.01.2015 at the rate of six percent increase over the existing rate of 107 percent.
Hence, Central Government employees as well as pensioners are entitled for DA/DR at the rate of 113 percent of the basic pay with effect from 01.01.2015. The increase is in accordance with the accepted formula based on the recommendations of the 6th Central Pay Commission.
The combined impact on the exchequer on account of both DA and DR would be of the order of Rs. 6762.24 crore per annum and Rs. 7889.34 crore in the Financial Year 2015-16 (i.e. for a period of 14 months from January 2015 to February 2016).
This will benefit 48 lakh government employees and 55 lakh pensioners.

Pillai sir, hum ldcs ka kab hoga. Kab hum logo ka grade pay badhega. Kuch kijiye sahab. Hum to bure tarah se fasse he. Itne kam salary hum logo ka. Bura ho raha he hum ldc ke sath me. Kuch kijiye sir. Bahot din ho gaya he ab tak kuch bhi ni hua.
ReplyDeleteUdc must be granted rs. 4200 grade pay and may be treated equivalent as assistants. They deserve this grade pay as per thier qualification and work profile.

ReplyDeleteSir what is judicial system doing in ldc-udc case? Are we getting upgraded pay scales? If yes they does it will be effect from 01.01.2006? Why so delay in decision from judicial forum? Since the delay and anomaly spoiling our social and personal life, who will be responsible for all tgis wreckage?
Sir, we need your answers... Please sir, tell us one fact, our pay up case will be considered or not?

ReplyDeleteUdcs are facing so much harassment by the 6cpc anomaly. They are equally loaded with work as assistants. But they have downgraded with such low pay scale. They must be upgraded to 4200 at the earliest.

ReplyDeleteLdcs-Udcs are really demoralized by their existing pay grades. Surprisingly, this anomaly was identified by all but no appropriate decision made as on date.
ReplyDeleteConditions of ldc-udcs got worsen up more when the juducial system get failed to award justice to ldc-udcs in time. This is clear failure of all competent authorities. They may not realize but we all laugh on their credibility.
Ldc-udcs must get rs2800 and 4200 grade pay in the exisiting comission.
2015 is yet to finish but no fast action from judicial process. It is disheartening. Ldc and udcs must get rs.2800 and 4200 gp. It is really very pathetic about dop&t also. Since they got powers so they are doing monopoly.

Pillai sir, one request. This time when you or your representative will be in court for ldc-udc issue, convey my one single question to the judge "what will happen as if there will similar pay anomaly occured in judges pay scales? Will they act in present way or some kind of fast track court will be nominated and the matter will be resolved in a week only?
ReplyDeleteSince we are lower grades so the anomaly will not be removed. It makes me feel that we are not independent. Still we are under the rule of britishers. No mercy and no justice to poorers. I am very sad by this.
Please respect UDC qualification. Three years diploma holder junior engineer gets grade pay 4200. However degree holder UDC gets grade pay 240O. Otherwise please change minimum qualification of UDC degree to matriculation. So that respect and identity of degree can be maintained in Indian education society.
